Guidelines for the Use of Available Materials

The teaching materials made available on this website are aimed primarily at students studying Business Administration and Health Care Management. They support the courses and update the course books “Grundzüge der Krankenhausbetriebslehre” and “Grundzüge der Krankenhaussteuerung”. Furthermore, we have made these materials freely accessible to everyone on the internet, so that anyone interested can access and use them. We do so with following assumptions:

1. Every user commits themself to use the materials on offer in a way that corresponds to the professional ethics of academics. This also means that appropriate references must be made. Commercial use of these materials is not permitted.

2. Every user helps to improve the existing materials. We will be grateful to receive any indications of mistakes, necessary updates and other possibilities for improvement.

3. The Chair of General Business Administration and Health Management aims to contribute to the establishment of a General Business Administration for Hospitals. We explicitly desire prolific exchange on topics concerning content, concepts and methods.

4.  The Chair assumes no liability for possible mistakes. Similarly, we are not liable for the content of links.

5. The slides on their own do not guarantee good teaching. On the contrary, the slides must be complemented by practice examples, competently explained and conveyed in an inspiring manner. The personal relationship to our students cannot be replaced by a set of slides.

Our provision of slides “pro bono publico” is a pledge of our trust, which complies to our mission statement as a service-oriented chair. We would be grateful if this trust is countered with a responsible handling of the materials.
