Chair of Landscape Economics
Teaching profile
In teaching, the Chair of General Economics and Landscape Economics focuses on three thematic areas:
(1) Landscape economics and sustainable land use,
(2) Environmental and nature conservation economics,
(3) Cost-benefit analysis and valuation of natural resources.
In addition to lectures, exercises, seminars and tutorials, practical courses, excursions and guest lectures are also offered. The chair thus contributes to the study programs

The teaching aims to provide a theory-based, but at the same time practice-oriented education that enables graduates to carry out well-founded economic analyses in the areas of landscape, land use, nature conservation and environmental protection and to critically assess policy alternatives.
