Portfolio Management Seminar Winter Term 2024/25
The chair offers the opportunity to participate in the Portfolio Management seminar during the winter term 2024/2025.
Please refer to the seminar catalogue for topics, literature references and original articles. All further information can be found in the guidelines for writing theses and seminar papers.
Registration for the seminar is possible until Monday, 04.11.2024, 12 p.m., exclusively by e-mail to rsf-financeuni-greifswaldde, stating three topic preferences. Please refer to the seminar catalogue for the selection of topics. We also need the following information from you: Surname, first name, matriculation number, degree programme (BSc BWL / MSc BWL / MSc MaRe / Diplom etc).
Confirmation of participation and the allocation of topics will take place after the registrations have been reviewed in November. Since all topics of the seminar should be equally distributed, we ask for your understanding if you are not assigned one of your preferred topics.
The seminar paper must be submitted by Monday, 6 January 2025, 12.00 p.m., at the latest, both bound and digitally - by e-mail to rsf-financeuni-greifswaldde. Please also remember to submit the declaration of consent for the electronic version of your work to be checked by plagiarism software. Please deposit the bound seminar papers in the chair's mailbox in the Friedrich-Loeffler-Str. 70 building (from the main entrance turn right, through the glass doors. Just in front of the staircase, turn right again through the glass door - this is where the faculty mailboxes are located).
If you pass the seminar paper, individual feedback sessions (approx. 30 minutes) with Prof. Dr Mazzoni will take place, probably on 13.01. or 14.01.2025 (Room 319, Loeffler-Str. building), where you will also be given advice on the presentation. Please keep the dates 13.01./14.01.2025 free if possible. The invitation to these meetings, with the exact date and time, will be sent out very short-term.
The presentations of the seminar papers (20 minutes each) and discussion are expected to take place as part of a block event on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, in seminar room 1, Friedrich-Loeffler-Str. 70. It is requested that all participants of the seminar are present the entire time. Participation in the technical discussion is also part of the seminar performance. Grades will be awarded at the end of the seminar.
For Bachelor's or Master's students: The registration of the seminar as an examination at the examination office will be done by the chair. Diploma students receive a seminar certificate after completing the seminar.
