Portfolio Management Seminar during the Summer Term 2024

During the summer term 2024 we are offering a seminar on portfolio management.

Please refer to the seminar catalogue for possible topics, literature references and original articles. You can find all further information in the Guidelines for Writing Seminar Papers and Theses.

You can register for the seminar until Monday, 22.04.2024, 12:00 hrs, exclusively by email to rsf-financeuni-greifswaldde, stating three topic preferences. Please see the seminar catalogue for topic selection. We also need the following information from you: Surname, first name, matriculation number, course of study (BSc / MSc / MSc MaRe / Diploma, etc.).

A confirmation, as well as the assigned topics, are expected to be sent out to participants by 24.04.2024. Since all seminar topics should be included and presented, we ask for your understanding in case you will not have been assigned one of your preferred topics.

Your seminar paper must be submitted by Monday, 17.06.2024, 12:00 hrs, at the latest - both bound and digitally - by email to rsf-financeuni-greifswaldde. Please remember to submit the consent form for the electronic version of your paper to be checked by plagiarism software.

Individual feedback talks with Prof. Dr. Mazzoni are currently scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 25.06.2024, which will also include advice and recommendations for the forthcoming presentation. There will be a separate invitation for these meetings.

The presentations of the seminar papers (20 minutes each) and discussions are currently scheduled to take place as a block session on 09.07.2024 and/or 10.07.2024 in seminar room 1, Friedrich-Loeffler-Str. 70. It is requested that all participants of the seminar are present the entire time. Participation in the discussion constitutes part of the seminar performance. Afterwards, grades will be awarded.

Examination registrations:  All students are automatically registered with the examination office by the chair.


Thesis at the Chair of Business Administration and Finance

The chair encourages students to develop own proposals for the topic of their final thesis. Alternatively, a topic is assigned by the chair.

Prior to registration, students are required to submit a two-page exposé to their respective tutor.

When submitting your thesis, please separately submit the ageement for checking the electronic version of your thesis with plagiarism detection software.
